Larry Steelman - Keyboard Basics Step One
Biography
Larry Steelman is a multitalented songwriter, musician, producer and author. He has a degree in Composition from North Texas State University. Larry’s passion and vast experience in the music industry has him recognized as a visionary. Larry played with Willie Bobo in Los Angeles. In the early eighties, he arranged, toured and recorded with Johnny Mathis. He went on to record with Carl Anderson and was Carl’s musical director for seven years. Larry has also recorded with Natalie Cole, Dizzy Gillespie, Mick Jagger, and Gloria Loring. His compositions have been featured in films like Home Alone and 2010.
Musical Influences
In 2005, Larry produced a flute and piano CD with local flautist Dawn Sea Kahrs. In 2006, he co-produced a gospel CD entitled, Through It All, with Sharon Henderson. Two months later, Larry released his New Thought Gospel Music CD entitled One Light containing all of his original compositions and performed by the Joy! Choir in Oakland, California. His dedication to composing, arranging, and recording music that conveys New Thought teachings inspires all those around him.
